Welcome to The White Horse
The White Horse has stood proudly in the village for over two centuries since the first landlord, John Mills, opened the doors in 1765. Things have certainly changed over the years!
The pub has been restored to incorporate the values of traditional hospitality with modern designs featuring stone fired ovens, log burning hearths, deep leather seating and spacious teak furniture. The new furnishings complement the historic feel of the setting, mixing seamlessly with contemporary touches.
Open fires, and a large bar will draw you to the choice of super chilled continental beers including Erdinger, Sagres, Peroni & Becks Vier, Staropramen and Amstel, as well as an ample range of English cask ales. To accompany the food, there is a rounded and full-bodied wine list, featuring some of the finest champagnes, reds, whites and pinks.
At the White Horse we are proud to present our new menu. It represents the best in mouth watering dishes, made from only the finest quality ingredients. If you're popping out for lunch, the White Horse is a great place to grab a bite.
With regularly changing menus, daily chef's specials, and wonderful puddings; there is something to suit everyone. From pizzas to daily delivered fresh fish there is an excellent selection.
The most important part of the White Horse will be the warmth of the welcome you will receive when you visit us. We look forward to meeting you soon.
We hope John Mills would be proud.
